Cindra came to Pilates with the goal of strengthening her core. She has gained not only that, but also increased flexibility and the care of a kind staff.

1. What are the three things you like best about the center Studio?

a) Wide range/variety of classes and times available

b) Group lesson size is small

c) Knowledgeable and friendly staff


2. What did it feel like when you first started lessons at the center?  I was really concerned that I wouldn’t be up to speed with others in group class but the instructors were always helpful and patient and I never felt “like a duck out of water”.  I also wondered if it would become boring and it is just the opposite.  There are different classes/methods to try and you can increase your difficulty when you are ready. Pilates is always interesting and always a challenge.


3. How has Pilates helped you reach your Health and Fitness Goals?  It has put me on a regular schedule of working out.  One of my goals was to strengthen my core which I feel I have made progress with and also to increase my flexibility overall.


4.  If you had a friend who was interested in starting Pilates but wasn’t quite sure about it, what advice would you give him/her?  Don’t be afraid.  Just try out a few private lessons and you will know if it is for you or not.  Then transitioning to a group class (if you choose to do so) is made easy by the helpful instructors.  If you have injuries, the instructors are very knowledgeable about alternate ways to accomplish the same tasks without injuring yourself further.
