Here are Four Ways to Get Back on Track:

Put Your Workouts on Your Calendar

Your health is just as important as any other appointment you may have scheduled.  When you make exercising part of “what you do” on a regular basis, you will be more compliant with your program.
Get a Buddy

Studies show that people who exercise in groups are more likely to stick with a program versus going it alone.  Groups offer camaraderie and support for those times you don’t feel like moving your body.
Make it Fun

One size doesn’t fit all, and exercise doesn’t need to be tedious or painful to be effective.  Find an activity you love to do and stick with it!
(Our new Core Barre Format is a wonderful way to move and work your entire body to music. Folks are loving it!)
Shoot for Minimal Effort Activity

There are myriad ways you can add incidental activity into your day with minimal effort.  I’m a huge proponent of parking at the end of the parking lot, taking the stairs, playing catch, or just turning on some music while cleaning around the house and shaking my booty.  Brainstorm and come up with a few that work for you.
What Now?
Change doesn’t occur in a linear fashion. It often spirals, and we find ourselves back in an old pattern, but in a different way.  Think of one small step you can take this week to get yourself back on track.
